Survey assistants wanted

We are looking forward to a busy 2023 filled with surveys and we are looking for enthusiastic and reliable hourly paid assistants to help our team with work across Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, South Shropshire, and the West Midlands.

What we are looking for:

• reliable
• enthusiastic
• team player
• willingness to work unsociable hours (sunset & sunrise)
• driving licence and own transport, or local to our office in Malvern, Worcestershire
• experienced in the use of bat detectors (training available for those without experience)
• basic knowledge of UK bat species (training available for those without experience)

• free training for inexperienced assistants
• opportunities to assist with a variety of protected species and habitats surveys (mainly bat activity surveys)
• friendly and safe working environment
• good hourly rates of pay based on level of experience
• pay for your time spent travelling as well as on site
• expenses covered (standard mileage rate, sustenance where required)
• no back-to-back dusks and dawns
• no overnight stays
• monthly PAYE payroll (or swift payment of invoices for established freelancers)
